I had long term damp on a chimney breast in loft. Over the years treatment to chimney and extensive roof work didn't solve it, not even the removal of the stack when it still didn't dry out. The Aspect inspector, Oliver, was very thorough checking inside and outside on the roof and identified that the remaining interior chimney breast was sealed off with no ventilation and so could not dry out and there was a problem in the way new roof tiles were fitted. Oliver was careful to explain his findings all the way through the process and identified another small leak as well.

Our roofing services are charged in half-hour increments (1-hour min.).

Roofs & Gutters

This rate is for all roof repairs, installations and cleaning. Visual investigations without specialist detection methods are also charged at this rate.

From £56.25 + VAT on evenings and weekends
From £72.00 + VAT for late nights (9pm to 7am)

Roof Leak Detection

This rate is charged when investigations by specially trained experts using various detection methods are needed. It is not charged for repair work carried out after an investigation.

From £69.75 + VAT on evenings and weekends
From £90.00 + VAT for late nights (9pm to 7am)

Emergency Roof Repairs

There’s no extra charge for emergency attendance when we aim to be on-site within 1 hour.

Health and safety requirements mean that a roofer won’t be able to repair a roof in the dark or during bad weather conditions. However, we’ll aim to prevent water ingress from a leaking roof whenever possible immediately.

Duration Discounts

Whenever one of our roofers is on-site for extended hours, a discount to the half-hourly rate will automatically be applied to your invoice:

Half day (4 hours & more) = 5% off
Full day (8 hours & more) = 10% off

Further discounts are offered for large roof projects, such as replacements.
